Killer dog. Had the Good Morning - bacon-wrapped dog, fried egg, cheese & onion. Super tasty. Fries & onion rings were both very good. Service was fast & friendly, too. Definitely going back.

I prefer burgers to hotdogs and Gary's Carolina burger is very good. As good as the burger is The service is even better. They treat every person Like you were there best friend.

We love this place!! Had the Carolina dog and it was excellent. They're dogs have an unexpected firmness that when you bite into it it pops with flavor. You must try the fried sweet dough "pretzel". Unlike an ordinary soft pretzel, it's made with sweet dough and tastes amazing! We had it with salt but I bet the cinnamon sugar would have been even better. The guy beside us ordered a bacon wrapped dog dropped in the fryer with a fried egg on the bun. It looked delicious. The owner is very friendly and staff was attentive. We will definitely be back!!

First time trying Gary's today. Gotta say, the dogs were great and loved the steam buns. Ordered a cinnamon/sugar pretzel and it came with a side of maple syrup to dip. Fabulous!!! Service was great and the owner even came out and took out pic with the hotdog mascot!

Visiting from out of town and really wanted a hot dog at the beach. This place was perfect. In fact, we ate here twice in one day. Probably not great for the figure but didn't hurt the wallet. My favorite was "the good morning." Bacon wrapped hot dog with fried egg and American cheese on toasted bun for only $2.50ish. Only outdoor seating but this place is great for what it is. Gary was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We liked this little place. All outdoor seating, most of which is behind the location. I got a NY dog with onion rings and fries. They were all tasty but the best food that Gary has is the homemade cinnamon sugar deep fried pretzel. Super yummy! Gary is super friendly and cares about his customers. So nice to see people grateful for patronage. Help the little guy out and stop by!

Not a bad little joint. A little street vendor selling hotdogs, pretzels, slush is, etc. I had the BBQ dog--hotdog wrapped in bacon smothered in BBQ sauce, cheese, some onion, and I added jalapeños. Have to say best dog I've had in a while. Only outdoor/patio seating. A few different drink options, (tea, soda, juice) didn't notice any alcohol. The owner is from Boston area(thick Boston accent, redsox visor, redsox decals all over) so the variety of hot dog choices is extensive and all are served on a New England style bun which I love! Prices are pretty reasonable for the area, all in all I'd go back again for sure next time I'm back in Myrtle and in the area, but this isn't a meal to go to far out of the way to get too.

We stopped by for a quick bite before heading out on the beach for the day. Very reasonably priced and tasted good. I do wished they were grilled instead of boiled but we all enjoyed ours!

I work next door and frequently walk over. The service is top notch and the folks are very friendly. The hot dogs are northern style, but this southern boy loves 'em! Huge variety and I hear that they are going to have lobster rolls soon. I highly recommend to locals and tourists looking for a quick bite. Love the way they chop their onions!

We stopped here around 2:30 because after golf needing a snack. We ended up enjoying wonderful hot dogs on nicely buttered and grilled bun. Really more like a lobster roll bun. WhenGRy learned it was my birthday and Gary, the owner, was the nicest guy! He brought out a small order of fries to wish me happy birthday! that was a first and impressive! If you live in Myrtle Beach or plan a visit there, Gary's Dogs are a must stop! Sit out back behind and the traffic isn't bad at all. You won't be disappointed!

o wow am i glad i finally stopped here, i went back two days later! great "yankee" dog. its a kayem frank, same one they serve at Fenway park. it has a great pop when you bite it, i like his chili, and the fries are great!

We were at a baseball tournament nearby and needed a quick lunch. I saw Gary's on the way in and decided to give it a try. I am a hot dog snob. I'll admit it. I went to Gary's with no expectations, although I expected regular old grocery store hot dogs. I was most pleasantly surprised. The hot dogs had natural casings. They had a nice snap when you bit into them. The buns were steamed and cut from the top, just the way I like them. The menu was extensive. I had the New York dogs with grilled onion and spicy mustard. They were excellent. Gary's will definitely be a stop the next time I'm in North Myrtle. Yeah, gotta try those bacon dogs.

We been looking for a good hotdog for some time, their not easy to find anymore. But the search is over, Gary's has the best around. We visit Myrtle Beach 3 to 4 times a year and will be going to Gary's on every visit. Best dog I've had in years. Try the sweet pretzel and frozen banana for desert, both are delicious.
